Protection One creates designated national accounts team

Protection One announce the promotion of three top sales executives, reflecting the company's improved alignment of its residential, commercial, and, now, designated national accounts divisions.

"With this realignment, and as one of few national security providers, we are responding to the unique needs of our various customer segments across the country, especially the growing inquiries from commercial and national account prospects for enterprise-wide security solutions," said Richard Ginsburg, president and CEO. "This sharpened focus on our growing national accounts program, along with our already strong presence in the residential and commercial markets, will allow us to dedicate resources toward providing the next generation in security for these distinct customers."

Formerly overseeing a combined commercial and national accounts effort, Kevin Williams has been named vice president of national accounts. He joined Protection One in 2004 and has 21 years of experience in the industry, spending the majority of that time with ADT and Siemens.

Jim Boots has been named vice president of residential sales. He has a 24-year career in the security industry, including seven years at Protection One and prior sales and managerial positions at Westar Security, PSI and Smith Alarm Systems.

Chris Cos has been promoted to vice president of commercial sales. Prior to joining Protection One in 2004, Cos worked as a district sales and installation manager for ADT. He has 18 years experience in the industry, including roles in general and sales management in both the residential and commercial arenas.
