Pelco's Joe Olmstead retires

Clovis, California (USA)

Pelco's director of global marketing communications, Joe Olmstead, will be leaving the company to enjoy retirement and pursue other interests at the end of June. Olmstead came to Pelco from Cohu Electronics in San Diego, where he was national sales manager and a Pelco customer for a number of years. His career in the electronic security and video security market segments included involvement in all aspects of sales and marketing.

"Joe has worked for Pelco for nearly six years and has made tremendous contributions as our Director of Marketing Communications. Through his leadership, he helped the company set the standard for a world class Marketing and Communications team," says Dean Meyer, Pelco president and CEO.

Olmstead says that his plans include taking on some special projects within the security industry and having some quality family time, including several trips to check out retirement locales and taking time out to 'smell the roses.' "I will especially miss the numerous friends I have made at Pelco and being part of a special team that makes up Marcom," Olmstead says.

"I know many join me in thanking Joe for his years of dedicated service at Pelco," says Jim Brannan, Sr. Vice president, Global Marketing & Business Development. "Joe has been working in the Security Industry for many years and has an extensive knowledge of the market. Pelco has been fortunate to have Joe in our organization these past years."
