Through a commitment to open standards, third-party integration, and the identification of solution providers whose products seamlessly blend with Pelco products and technology, the result is a powerful extension to traditional security applications through this new program, states the company. From access control to point of sale, from third-party camera and recording support to analytics and more, Pelco management says that it aggressively works with manufacturers and other solution providers to provide the security industry with the tools they need for success.

While the industry and customers seek a "best-of-breed" solution, Pelco management understands that no one wants to be handcuffed with a proprietary implementation. In lieu of detailed industry standards - which are only now in the infancy stage of development and acceptance - partnering is the next best solution.
