New ethernet cameras by Lumenera

Canada

The Canadian manufacturer Lumenera addresses the growing security market with two new ethernet CCD cameras.

The Le259 model can transmit up to 15 HD-quality images at 1920 × 1080 pixels via the network, while Le1 1059 offers a resolution of 4008 × 2672. Both models include software and hardware interfaces for easy integration. The 35mm CCD chip of the top Le11059 model achieves a resolution of 11 megapixels at a rate of up to 5 frames per second.

Both models feature a day/night mode, configurable compression ratios (JPEG, MPEG, Streaming), and auto white balance. Within an image, multiple motion detection zones can be defined with variable sensitivity (security and privacy zones). An I/O connector provides an interface to an external alarm sensor and peripheral equipment. Alarm notification automatically includes the date, time and camera IP address. Additional components, such as on-board memory buffers of 48MB - optionally 128MB - can be activated, if required.

Image transfer occurs via HTTP, FTP, RTP or Email. Password-protected camera functions as well as SLR lenses, connected by SLR K-Mount, are controlled via HTTP, XML-RPC, Telnet or Microsoft COM.
