New compliant push plate switch from Camden

Ontario, Canada

Camden Door Controls has released a new Ontario Building Code compliant push plate switch for mounting on narrow 1-3/4" width frames and boxes.

CM-35N push plate switches have a 4-1/2" tall x 2" wide faceplate with a 1-3/4" wide back mounting plate.

The CM-35N was developed specifically for the Ontario automatic door market and offers the small mounting footprint of the company's CM-25 while also providing the OBC compliant faceplate of the CM-35 (single gang) series.

Although CM-35N push plate switches are small enough to fit on door jambs, the regulation 368/13 amendment to the OBC, effective Jan 1, 2015, specifically prohibits that placement in automatic door applications. Switches must be placed a minimum of 600mm (23-1/2") beyond the door swing.

CM-35N push plate switches are available with a wide range of graphic options and a selection of special order architectural finishes. These switches are supported by a library of product information, including a product specification sheet and high resolution image.

CM-35N push plate switches are in stock and available for order now.
