The HDMI fibre extender kit (500460) allows HDMI equipment to be connected up to 1,000 ft (305m) via one multimode fibre strand in a point-to-point configuration depending on resolution. The kit comes with one transmitter, one receiver, IR Sensor (500998), IR Emitter (500999) and two power supplies.

Developed for the commercial AV and digital signage markets, the HDMI fibre extender allows one HDMI cable to be replaced by one multimode fibre. The 500460 supports up to 1,000 ft (305m) via a single multimode 62.5 um/125 um fibre. Furthermore, the 500460 supports IR remote and RS232 control for more advanced applications.

The HDMI fibre extender kit comes with a two year warranty and complies with HDMI 1.3a and FCC Class A standards.
