Marc Holtenhoff, CEO at Aimetis

Aimetis growth initiatives continued in 2011 resulting in a year-over-year unit sales growth of over 40% for its video management and analytics software.
The company also continued its climb up the IMS Research market share ranks, placing 6th globally for video management software and one of only four companies to appear in the Top 10 in each region of the world. Aimetis extended its market reach globally with over 700 partners in 100 countries, representing a 50% year-over-year growth in authorised and certified partners. The company’s investments in Asia are also being recognised as the company received the 2011 award for Axis Partner of the Year for China.

The year also saw exciting new product introductions from Aimetis, including the Aimetis E3200 Series Physical Security Appliance. The Aimetis E3200 Series, with its fanless design and small footprint, was a market hit and recipient of the Best in Video Storage, Distribution and Management award at the ISC WEST New Product Showcase. The company also expanded its offerings with the introduction of automatic license plate Recognition which enables Aimetis Symphony to record license plate numbers via networked video cameras. The new capabilities are ideal for parking lot applications in diverse settings such as airports, educational campuses and city lots to ensure proper payment and security, as well as intelligent traffic systems to ensure traffic compliance.

According to Marc Holtenhoff, CEO at the company, the strong momentum from 2011 has set Aimetis up for what looks to be a very promising 2012. The company plans for the year include exciting new product introductions, new versions of their software with new features, and continued investment in knowledge sharing tools that contribute to their partner’s success.
