Mission 500 adds two new board members

Miami, Fl

Janet Fenner

Mission 500 has added two new members to its Advisory Board – Janet Fenner, Chief Marketing Officer at Intelligent Security Systems (ISS) and Sarah Flanagan, Publisher of Security Systems News. Janet and Sarah are the first women to join the Mission 500 Advisory Board simultaneously.

“Janet and Sarah join Mission 500 at an exciting time as we look to further assist children and families in need across the country, and inspire more companies and individuals to partake in community service and charitable initiatives,” said Ken Gould, Mission 500 Chairman of the Board and President of KJG Consulting. “The addition of these two most prominent women in our industry provides new perspectives and outreach and we look forward to their contributions to this most worthy cause.”

Janet Fenner has more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience, focusing on cutting-edge electronics and software solutions for professional applications. Fenner was recently recognised as one of the security industry’s top female leaders by the Security Industry Association (SIA). She serves on SIA’s Board of Directors and SIA’s Women in Security Forum, in addition to chair of SIA’s Membership and Marketing Committee. She has also been an Advisory Board Member and an active volunteer for Mission 500 and its valuable events and programmes.

Sarah Flanagan recently returned to Security Systems News (SSN) as Publisher. SSN is an Angel Sponsor of Mission 500 and founder and supporter of the annual ISC West Mission 500 Security 5K, which is broadly supported by the security industry. Flanagan’s career in B2B and B2C sales and marketing in publishing and events spans more than 30 years. She is known for building rapport and relationships with prospects, customers, colleagues and industry peers and plans to bring that energy to the Mission 500 Board.
