Milipol Qatar exhibition to run in late October

Doha, Qatar

Milipol Qatar - the international exhibition of internal State security - first took place in 1996. Milipol Qatar was created to respond to a need for a specialised exhibition that was highly targeted to the needs of the Middle East market. The show will be celebrating its 8th edition 25-27th October 2010 in Doha.

Over the past 14 years Milipol Qatar has witnessed steady growth, testifying to the need for a targeted local event. It has now become the principal meeting place where suppliers of security products and services come together with buyers and consultant advisors of governments from the Gulf region, the rest of the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. It represents a professional regional shop-window for the latest technological developments in the field of internal state security.

With 260 exhibitors from 37 countries, Milipol Qatar 2008 was in increase of 5 % compared to its last edition.

The Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar invites official delegations from the Middle East, North Africa, Asia as well as Europe to attend the event and discover new technologies in this specialist field. They are Ministers, high-ranked officials from Ministries of Interior and of Defence, Ambassadors, CEO, consultants.

More than 4,900 visitors attended MilipoL Qatar in 2008, all professionals of State security, defence, or responsible for industrial and sensitive sites.
