Mid-span PoE products now carry the UL mark

Brooklyn, New York

Altronix, a manufacturer of low voltage power supplies and devices for the electronic security industry, announces that its recently introduced line of NetWay Mid-Span PoE Products are now UL listed. They provide reliable and consistent power designed for standard network infrastructure and can accommodate PoE and conventional IP video cameras, as well as edge devices.

The NetWay8 midspan provides eight PoE-compliant ports rated at 15.4W maximum (compliant with IEEE 802.3af). Two of the ports are selectable for 30W to accommodate
higher-current IP PTZs. Easy plug-and-play installation enables safe and cost-effective power distribution over Cat5/5E/6 LAN infrastructures.

The NetWay16 midspan provides 16 PoE-compliant ports rated at 15.4W maximum (compliant with IEEE 802.3af). Four of the ports are selectable for 30W to accommodate higher-current IP PTZs. NetWay8 and NetWay16 are housed in a compact 1U rack-mount chassis.

Additional NetWay devices include the NetWay1 midspan injector with a single PoEcompliant port and PoE shutdown option. The NetWayXT repeater extends Ethernet range an additional 100m (328 feet). The NetWay1512 adapter enables compatibility with non-PoE compliant cameras, and the NetWay3012 adapter supplies 30W to accommodate high-current IP devices including PTZs.
