Latest Provideo NVR corrects fisheye lens distortion

Taipei, Taiwan

Provideo recently released their new version 5.022 64Ch Hybrid NVR, which supports Windows-7 32-bit in the advanced version with a ' fix fisheye image distortion' feature.

Provideo have launched their latest 64-channel hybrid NVR, developed with seamless integration in both hardware and software for optimum performance, and for use with a combination of analogue and digital cameras within a single system.

Users and development teams will not only be able to manage the images through a single device, but will also be able to improve the analogue / digital characteristics to achieve different connection and expansion requirements in varying environments and conditions.

Mr. Andy Hu, Sales Manager of Provideo, emphasises: "We have not just fine-tuned the performance of our latest hybrid NVR, but have added the facility for various hardware devices, such as H. 264 DVR card with the interfaces for PCI, PCI-E and Mini-PCI, H.264 IP cam / video server, ...etc. for high performance. At Provideo we are also known as a strong player in offering our products and solutions for all kind of requirements, especially based on specific projects."

The new NVR V5.022 has a digital pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) function, allowing users to pan, tilt and zoom while removing blind spots and eliminating reliability challenges associated with conventional mechanical PTZ security camera systems. This technology offers a wide variety of viewing options – such as panoramic view and quad display modes -- providing a highly versatile potential to correct and display images from the majority of cameras on the market today, including those with fisheye lenses.
