IP camera range

Ottobrunn, Germany

Following the acquisition of the Extreme CCTV Group, Bosch Security Systems is extending its already extensive CCTV product portfolio with the launch of a new range of IP cameras.

The Extreme IP200B Series effectively integrates Extreme CCTV's renowned environmental and low light performance with a Bosch IP encoder, providing full compatibility with all Bosch products.

The IP200B range has been designed to meet surveillance requirements not fully addressed by standard camera formats. Paul Wong, UK managing director of Bosch Security Systems says: "The IP200B series includes the EX7IP which can view directly along walls and ceilings at angles of up to 90 degrees, a known problem for 99 percent of dome cameras and the EX36IP, a corner mount camera which gives a clear unobstructed view of an entire room without blind spots. The IP200B Series also includes a range of IP67 rated, rugged environment cameras with integrated infrared illumination, the EX30IP, EX80IP and EX82IP."

IP200B cameras are suitable for use in a wide range of challenging surveillance applications including; ports and harbours, perimeters, correctional facilities, town centres and commercial applications. They are particularly applicable for low light and no-light surveillance situations.

The release of the IP200B Series marks the first significant joint product development since Bosch's 2008 acquisition of the Extreme CCTV Group, further enhancing technology that is already well recognised in the industry. "These new IP cameras integrate all the environmental and low light performance benefits of an Extreme CCTV analogue camera with the addition of a Bosch IP backend," Paul concludes. "This enhancement will inevitably satisfy an even wider range of customer applications and needs."
