Intrusion infrasound solution
Louisville, Colorado (USA)
Unique patented intrusion infrasound technology in the AIM100 detector processes material impacts and, through its adaptive artificial intelligence capabilities, filters out ambient and non-alarm activity sounds to detect intrusion activity. iDTEQ firmware sets the baseline detection intelligence for each category of device based on the environments for each industry.
An AIM100 device consists of a single box containing a sophisticated intrusion infrasound acoustic-detector with a built-in commercial radio board designed to fit seamlessly into new and existing security systems. It can be used with any control panel or as a stand-alone GSM system and the system can easily be scaled up or down to meet changing requirements.
The technology also lends itself to temporary securing closed locations such as an unoccupied residential dwelling or office space. "It’s not practical for a real estate agent to install a full security system in an empty house, but it’s a simple matter to set an AIM device to detect and deter intrusion," said Zeijlemaker. "The iDTEQ AIM device requires no installation or technical knowledge and offers reliable intrusion detection."
One of the challenges of securing mobile assets is the potential for extreme outdoor environments. "iDTEQ has designed the AIM100 solutions to be rugged and reliable in these conditions," said Zeijlemaker. "A single detector offers up to 9,000 hours of battery-life and operates in temperatures of -40°C to +85°C (-40F to +185F)."
