As managing director for the EMEA region Mr. Ball will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of business objectives and growth plans for EMEA. He will focus on further growth opportunities by promoting HID's unique secure identity-related capabilities through vehicles like HID Connect, networked access solutions and card services in EMEA.

With a proven record of achieving profitability and growth, Mr. Ball has considerable international experience, a requirement for managing HID Global in the EMEA region. Prior to joining HID, Mr. Ball held senior positions with Gemalto, Axalto and Schlumberger. He speaks conversational French and holds a business degree from Bournemouth, UK.
