The version update focuses on tighter integration and superior user experience with Flir’s thermal security cameras.

The inclusion of advanced integration with Flir security cameras means that the new version offers the ability to configure thermal settings from the United VMS and a FLIR PT-Series picture in picture display (PiP) is available in United VMS client applications.  There is also support for analytics and radiometric events sent from FC-Series ID, FC-Series R and A310-PT cameras.

The update provides Improved robustness for enterprise deployments and large customers with complex, high-availability requirements will be able to take advantage of new backup and failover facilities.  There are also improved forensic tools and EZ client web interface enhancements, support for digital PTZ in EZ client web interface and an adaptive thumbnail view in EZ client.  The mechanism for Fast Forward (FF) playback has been improved along with the improvement in image quality with 4K cameras utilising he ‘de-jittering’ filter.
