Intelligent video surveillance (IVS) face detection and recognition is designed to provide advanced, accurate video analytics that can be used to search, track, classify, and identify faces of people within the monitored area.

This IVS function automatically detects and captures a person's face and compares it to an image recorded in a specific database. It can alert the operator when a face is detected in the frame of the image.
