Used in pairs, the Dual S-Video Balun supports S-Video 1,000 feet (305m) via Cat 5 twisted pair cable (UTP) and may be used in conjunction with MuxLab's line of rack, wall and surface mount accessories for more versatile cabling.
Applications for the product are extensive and include: residential AV systems, digital signage, video-conferencing, projection systems, video kiosks, classroom instruction, tradeshow demos, PC-training, airline information systems, courtroom video arraignment, medical monitoring and CCTV security and surveillance.
The product features two (2) S-Video jacks and one (1) RJ45 connector for Cat5/6. The Dual S-Video Balun is fully compatible with the 500016, 500017, 500037 and 500038 and other MuxLab products supporting S-Video. The product works in conjunction with DVD players, cable TV receivers, PC video cards, laptops, DLP projectors, camcorders, media servers and DL2 stage lighting systems.

MuxLab Inc announce its latest solution for the custom AV market, the Dual S-Video Balun (p/n 500013). The Dual S-Video Balun allows up to two (2) S-Video channels to be transmitted via four (4) twisted pairs in a point-to-point scenario and is designed for AV systems that require multiple S-Video connections such as rental and staging, AV mixing and camcorder system.
