Dortronics 43211CB system with fire alarm interface
Sag Harbor, NY
Either of the “privacy” push buttons will energize door locks for both doors and illuminate the “occupied” high intensity LED indicators outside the bathroom. The privacy push buttons also illuminate to indicate to the user when the doors are locked. Both doors must be closed in order to activate the privacy locks. Opening either door using the mechanical lockset hardware or activating the “emergency release” push button will unlock both doors immediately. For added convenience and safety, the system includes a fire alarm interface to redundantly unlock both doors for egress.
The power supply/controller provides 4 amps of 12 or 24V DC power and is housed in a NEMA enclosure. “Assured privacy and convenience with one-touch control is an important design feature of this new system,” said Bryan Sanderford, Dortronics National Sales Manager. “It’s a unique solution ideal for this specific installation application.”
