Soaring 37 stories above the Miami skyline and with excellent ocean and city views, the new Canvas Condos residential high-rise features a mostly glass exterior that reflects the drastically evolving landscape north of downtown Miami. The system includes over 3,000 fire alarm devices with complete smoke evacuation system interface and custom control via the fireman’s graphic override panel.

Integrated Security Systems joined Convergint Technologies in early June, enhancing Convergint’s capabilities through their robust experience within fire alarm & life safety. ISS Miami currently provides installations and support all the way down south in Key West, Fl and up the east coast, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach counties. ISS has Edwards–certified technicians with expertise in fire alarm & life safety design and inspection. Together with Convergint, ISS provides premier, sophisticated security and fire alarm & life safety system integration, including large-scale projects such as Canvas Condos.

With its modern design and size, Canvas is meant to be the hallmark of the newly emerging Miami Arts and Entertainment District, and its amenities will include sunrise and sunset pools, a fitness centre, glass-enclosed racquetball court, spa and sauna treatment rooms, business center, and a children’s playroom – all of which will be protected by the new system. The project has a 24-month schedule and is scheduled for completion in early 2018.
