This commitment will promote a cooperative culture of employer support for the National Guard and Reserve and will develop mutually beneficial initiatives, including recognising outstanding employer advocacy, increasing awareness of applicable laws and policies, and acting as employers’ principal advocate within the Department of Defense. Additionally, ESGR supports work environments through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities. Convergint is grateful to veterans and reservists for their service.

Many Convergint veterans and reservists, as well as ESGR volunteers, came to show their support for this partnership. Convergint speakers included Jesse Shamrock, Warehouse Lead and Army veteran, and Kevin Prior, Convergint’s General Manager of Leveraged Services and Navy veteran. Speakers for ESGR included Bruce Townsend, Chief of Employer Engagement for ESGR, and Craig McKinley, ESGR National Chair, retired USAF Four-Star General, and former member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. CEO Ken Lochiatto signed the agreement, solidifying Convergint’s commitment to this initiative.
