CNL appoints US based chairman

Woking, UK

CNL announce the appointment of Graham Wallis to the role of Chairman, effective August 10th 2009.

Wallis is an industry veteran and one of the most prominent members of the security industry for the last twenty years. Graham has been active across a broad spectrum of senior management roles in the US; notably as President of Dedicated Micros and Javelin Systems, a subsidiary of the Ademco Pittway Corporation, as well as strategic advisor to several company boards. He has been an active player in driving the security industry forward. Graham comments "I have been involved with CNL for several years now, but more recently, having been party to the company's expansion planning, mainly here in the US. The company requires a Board of Advisors with experience of the US market and rapid growth and we are in the process of creating a dynamic Board with my appointment being the first of many".

The company recently announced entry into the North American markets with the appointment of Matt Kushner as President and has committed to major expansion via its system integrator channel partners. CEO, Keith Bloodworth says "The timing of a US based Chairman is exactly right with many of our large new projects being in the US. Graham is an excellent choice as Chairman, bringing a wealth of experience and Industry contacts to the table, as well as responsibility for the high level activities of the Company and interfacing to the financial communities and US investors. This move reinforces the strategic direction of CNL and underscores our commitment to the US market".

"CNL is an ambitious company with an exciting product in a fast growth market". Wallis adds, "The whole PSIM market seems set to explode with North America being one of the early adopters of the technology. I am delighted to be involved with such a vibrant company within the security industry that I know and love". The next couple of years will be a particularly exciting time as we concentrate on tapping the enormous potential for growth in the US".
