The CM-AF500 has been designed as the answer to a wide range of security, automatic door and public safety applications, including secure rooms and barrier-free restrooms. With the addition of an onboard power regulator and more message labels (at the same price), the CM-AF500 offers even more flexibility and value.

New features include an increase in the range of power input voltages which are now from 10 to 36 volts DC.  Plus the units can now be powered by the output of (low energy) powered door operators (DC) and they are now connected via a simple two wire lead system, in place of the 12V, 24V and common connections from the previous models.

In addition Camden is now packaging more insert message labels for security and automatic door applications to include 'Armed' (Red) and Unlocked (Green), giving a total of 6 optional messages.
