Brivo officially opens new custom designed HQ

Bethesda, Md

To accommodate its growing team and to better serve its customers, Brivo has moved into a custom-designed 14,200 square-foot space and the 6th September marked the grand opening. The new HQ employs contemporary technology and design; introduces an open office plan; and takes advantage of LEED-certified materials and construction techniques.
The September 6 Open House was attended by local public officials, industry figures, customers, partners, building neighbours and, of course, Brivo employees and their families. Notable attendees included Karen McManus, Deputy District Director for Outreach for Rep. Chris Van Hollen, Member of Congress, 8th District, Maryland. Ms. McManus presented Brivo President & CEO Steve Van Till with a citation of congratulations on behalf of Rep. Van Hollen.

Also in attendance were Robert L. Fealy, President & Chief Operating Officer, The Duchossois Group, Brivo’s parent company; Joe Gittens, Director of Standards, Security Industry Association; and Cynthia Harrison, Montgomery County, MD, Department of Economic Development.

Guests enjoyed tours of the new space, saw demonstrations of the company’s new system user interface in the Brivo University Training Room, and learned about Brivo’s history and its parent company, The Duchossois Group, in the Brivo Experience Center.

Brivo was founded in 1999. In 2004, the company moved from its Arlington, Va, location to Bethesda, Md. When it was time to expand to accommodate growth and add new training and development space, senior management renewed their commitment to Bethesda by re-locating to new quarters just blocks away.
