Bentel launches Absoluta security control panel

At Ifsec, Birmingham, UK, Bentel, part of the Tyco security products group, launched the Absoluta intrder alarm control panel. Built on Bentel's legacy of creating reliable and quality security products, Absoluta raises the bar with its brand new, more flexible platform. It has all the reliability of Bentel's traditional wired/hybrid intrusion control panels as well as many exciting new features of expandability and convenience.
Absoluta comes in three models - available in metal and sleek plastic designs- to satisfy basic, medium, and high level installations. It includes a specially designed powerful operating system, the Bentel Operating Security System (BOSS), to enhance user experience. It also features GSM and IP plug and play add-ons and is compatible with all Bentel’s BGSM series of communicators.

Convenience is key with Absoluta. Its new telephonic voice guide allows the user to dial into the system, navigate the menu and choose a number of different options, such as arming or disarming of the system. It’s fully customisable on board voice dialler leaves voice messages for each event and alarm, providing exceptionally reliable alarm reporting. Featuring instantaneous, two-way audio alarm communication, it allows the responder to assess the situation and detect false alarm status.

Programming is quicker and easier than ever. Local programming can be performed with BOSS using PC-Link or USB Serial connections. Installers can also programme remotely through high speed Ethernet, wireless GPRS or traditional PSTN connections.
