Avigilon unveils ACM 5.0

Vancouver, Canada

Avigilon is introducing the Access Control Manager (ACM) 5.0 to its product portfolio, providing users worldwide with comprehensive security solutions that combine high-definition video surveillance and access control.
This is the first of the new products to come from the Avigilon design team since the company acquired Redcloud Security Inc. in May 2013.  The acquisition added an innovative line of physical and virtual access control solutions to Avigilon's product portfolio, and it has been the company's objective since then to integrate Redcloud’s business operations and products with Avigilon and make comprehensive enhancements to their existing access control platform.

Access Control Manager 5.0 is probably one of the industry’s most innovative access control solutions and was designed from the ground up to keep organisations of all sizes secure by seamlessly integrating identity management and video surveillance across IT and logical security systems. ACM’s secure, web-based platform ensures that users can access their system from anywhere with an internet connection, knowing their data and information is fully protected. The re-designed interface also allows users to simply and easily manage multiple sites from a single location, even if they’re spread around the globe.

Available in either Enterprise or Virtual editions, ACM provides scalability and flexibility for systems requiring only a few readers, or thousands. ACM Enterprise enables a seamless integration with existing IT and logical security systems. ACM Virtual is purpose-built for users that have migrated their IT operations to a shared IT infrastructure and want to leverage the power of virtual machines. Whatever the need, ACM is engineered to deliver a safe and secure access control solution, designed with the IT professional in mind.
