AverMedia had a successful ISC East exhibition

Taipei, Taiwan

Although many feared that the bad weather, slow economy and busy traffic would force an extremely weak show, this year's ISC East in New York opened to big crowds, warm weather and even the traffic cooperated, states AVerMedia.

The big draw to their booth was their 16 channel EH5216+ hybrid DVR which is experiencing a record year. Since it was introduced at ISC West, demand has forced production to almost be quadrupled, states the company. ISC East attendees were no different than those who have already experienced the unit. Every key benefit of the EH5216+ from being fully hybrid, Linux reliable, user-friendly and IP ready made many comment that this unit would be part of "their main line of DVRs."

AVerMedia has a long lineage of user tested and performance ready Video Capture Cards and this year at ISC East they introduced their latest addition to the family: the new PCI-e NV8416E4. Showcased on their big-screen, this smart card boasts 16 channels of D1 real-time frame rates with one of the fastest data streaming capabilities of the industry.

The NXU series which is AVerMedia's first VMS offering also attracted a lot of attention. This series which turns any PC into a virtual NVR without needing any hardware and is driven by AVerMedia's software platform seemed to resonate with many security integrators looking for a scalable, robust solution with a much lower total cost of ownership than traditional NVRs.
