Avermedia becomes Intel embedded solutions alliance partner

Avermedia, being the member of the embedded alliance, has passed on the benefits of lowered development cost and product performance to its clients, and adopted the latest technologies, interoperability, and hardware and software selections to products.
To prove the eligibility of Avermedia's experience within the forum, the IFSEC 2010 Award finalist product Averdigi IWH3216 Touch was displayed. It is a 16CH H.264 embedded hybrid DVR that is incorporated with an energy efficient Intel processor for various surveillance conditions and power consumption. Its dual-core processor feature enables the DVR to run multiple applications at the same time without affecting the performance. To improve the communication among users, the DVR, and other devices, Averdigi IWH3216 Touch provides intelligent video function such as POS integration to improve management efficiency, intelligent human face detection, smart visual search from specific camera, and noise reduction to minimise signal noise and file size.
In addition to that, users who want to take advantages of the interaction with the system can also find E-map, which involved users recording extremely useful settings through Avermedia’s GUI (Graphical User Interface), which is can be integrated with all Avermedia products.
The participation was reinforced by a presentation by Danny Chiou, Account Manager in charge of South East Asia who made a specific point of explaining all the benefits mentioned above, plus that the product supports and integrates with IP cameras from more than 60 brands and 500 models from all major IP camera manufacturers and can operate with the Averdigi CMS system provided free of charge.
