Artec video surveillance software integrates with Sony camera

Diepholz, Germany

Artec Technologies AG, a specialist in the area of developing and producing digital video surveillance systems, Streaming Media/IPTV products and system solutions, announces the integration of the new Sony 3 Megapixel Camera (SNC-CH210) into the Multieye video surveillance software.
The SNC-CH210 features various settings like selection of the image format 4:3 or 16:9 as well as selection of all common video format JPEG, MJPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264.

The Multieye software supports the dual streaming technology of the camera. This feature allows a simultaneous view of two images from one camera at the same time on the Multieye multi-screen monitor. One overview image and a second one for a more detailed view. This might lead to savings by reducing the number of cameras to be installed.

The camera complies with ONVIF standard. Its small form factor allows to use it for many applications within the field of discreet indoor surveillance of private houses, retail stores or banks.

With the integration of this camera that impresses by its first-class price-performance ratio the new release of the Multieye software will now support more than 20 Sony camera types.
