Anti-mask motion detectors passed BSI tests

Ottobrunn, Germany

The last testing which the Bosch Professional Series anti-mask detectors had to pass was the testing of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

To pass the BSI tests is precondition in Germany to install the motion detector in premises with highest security demand like e.g. sensitive military areas.

Before the BSI even considers testing an intrusion alarm product, the product must first pass the VdS class C test which is the highest security class from the German association of insurance companies (VdS).

Together with the EN50131-grade 3, the VdS class C is the most difficult regulation for anti-mask motion detector available.

Bosch Professional Series motion detectors have been designed to comply with the newest EN50131 and VdS standards. In order to achieve this Bosch invented some totally new anti-mask detection technologies. In total 3 absolutely independently working anti-mask technologies have been designed and implemented into the new Professional Series anti-mask detector range.

After successfully passing both, the EN50131 grade 3 and the VdS class C tests at the well known accredited laboratories CNPP in France and VdS in Germany, the BSI was the last hurdle to take.
