AES Intl. awarded subcontract by SAIC for USAF

AES International Corporation was selected as a subcontractor by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to help provide force protection security services and support to the U.S. Air Force. SAIC's multipleaward, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract has a ceiling value of USD 495 million for all awardees.

The contract provides security communications systems and services to, "deceive, deter, anticipate, deny, detect, delay, assess, deploy, neutralize and mitigate" potential threats at Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) sites throughout the world. AES International, as a subcontractor, is leading a team of Air Force Specialty contractors. Together they will design and install integrated security services and systems in multiple
locations nationally and internationally. The contract is administered by the Air Force - Force Protection Services at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts.

According to Aaron Tesnow, Business Development Director for AES International, they were the right fit for teaming with SAIC.
