With the acquisition, ADS Security establishes an office in the metropolitan Atlanta market for the first time; ADS Security has served the Augusta, Georgia, and Savannah, Georgia, markets for many years. ADS Security, currently ranked as the 23rd largest electronic security company in the nation, has offices in five southeastern states and serves more than 65,000 residential, commercial and institutional customers. The Norcross acquisition adds more than 4,500 accounts to ADS Security's total account base. Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

"The purchase of SecurNet Protective Services is an important step in our strategic plan to build ADS
Security's presence in the southeastern region," said Mahler. "ADS Security is now well-positioned for growth in
one of the largest metropolitan areas in the U.S."

The acquisition in Norcross follows on the heels of ADS Security's acquisition of Advanced Detection Systems in Melbourne, Florida, in October 2007. With that acquisition, ADS Security established its first office in Florida. ADS Security also has offices in Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee, in addition to Georgia and Florida.

SecurNet Protective Services was established in 1998 in Norcross, which is 16 miles northeast of Atlanta in
Gwinett County. Today, SecurNet, located at 6115-B Jimmy Carter Boulevard, is ranked among the top three fullservice security companies in the metropolitan Atlanta area. SecurNet Protective Services provides design,
installation, maintenance and service for electronic security systems, access control systems, fire detection systems, closed circuit TV (CCTV) systems, and other electronically-based life and property protection systems.

"When we decided to sell, we really 'hand picked' ADS Security because of its excellent customer service
record," said Lamar Fuller, one of the founders of SecurNet. "The continuation of excellent service to our
customers was extremely important to us."

"The contact that we've had with all of the employees at ADS Security has been extremely positive and further evidence that we made the right decision." Fuller added.

Fuller is retiring following the acquisition. Co-founder Paul Dyson will work with ADS Security for 30 days during the ownership transition, while co-founder Gary Lewis will join the ADS Security management team. Prior to establishing SecurNet, Fuller, Dyson and Lewis held key management positions with Rollins Protective Services in Atlanta.

ADS Security's Norcross acquisition comes shortly after John Cerasuolo joined the company on January 1
as president and chief operating officer. Mahler assumed the role of CEO and chairman at that time.

"Now that John has responsibility for the daily operations and management of ADS Security, I have concentrated my efforts on acquisitions and strategic planning," said Mahler. "The Norcross acquisition places ADS Security in a very strong position in a new market. We continue to look for additional opportunities in existing southeastern markets and elsewhere."
