Active Infrared automatic door sensor from Optex

Hague (The Netherlands)

Secumatic and Optex introduce a new Optex Active Infrared automatic door sensor: OA-Fusion! The OA-Fusion is a completely new sensor concept for automatic sliding doors based on the demands of the client and end user.

The Optex OA-Fusion is an active infrared safety sensor tested and approved by the German test organisation TÜV and in compliance with DIN 18650 and the preliminary European norm prEN 12650. The active infrared presence detection can be set very accurately and moved 5° towards or away from the door. The installation of safety beams is no longer necessary.
The OA-Fusion is developed for the use in combination with the Optex radar EZ/EZ+. From now on you are able to decide by yourself how you want to secure the threshold, either by using safety beams or by installing an active infrared OA-Fusion. For the activation of the doors Optex makes it easy again by simply adding the Optex radar EZ/EZ+ to the safety sensor for the optimum combination.
The OA-Fusion is equipped with a test output suitable for installation to almost every automatic door operator by choosing the right dipswitch setting.
The Optex OA-Fusion is ideal for the retrofit market. Soon, you will be able to upgrade doors that are installed years ago to the safety level of today against reasonable costs by just fitting the OA-Fusion behind the existing sensor.
The Optex OA-Fusion can offer many new sensor options to the automatic market and therefore the introduction of different types of the OA-Fusion is already planned. For example a stand-alone version, for side screen safety protection, will be introduced very soon.
