The solution is composed of two separate groups of sixteen Pelco speed domes located about 1 Km and 2 Km from the central control room respectively. Each Pelco speed dome is connected to an ACTi SED-2100R video server, and the video server is connected to a Wi-Fi wireless radio operating at 2.4 GHz. The analog video from each Pelco speed dome is encoded by the ACTi SED-2100R into highly efficient MPEG-4 video and transmitted wirelessly to the central control room. At the central control room, two ACTi StreamingActivator stations each manages 16Pelco speed dome + ACTi video server combination and allow live preview, recording, playback and PTZ control of the speed dome. Also, a separate PTZ control panel is connected to an ACTi SED-3200 transcoder to allow PTZ control of the speed domes.
