ABC World news broadcast acknowledges Sightlogix systems

Princeton, NJ

Sightlogix, Inc., was recognised on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer recently when the programme reported that 1,300 perimeter intrusions have occurred at US airports since September 11, 2001 and how airports are deploying technology to combat the potential for security breaches. ABC News discovered Sightlogix while researching proven technologies for airport perimeters.
“Achieving security awareness depends on knowing the precise location and nature of an intrusion for early detection and fast response,” said John Romanowich, President and CEO, Sightlogix. “This is a global challenge for the transportation industry on the whole, where seconds can be the difference between safety and disruption.”

Intelligent video from Sightlogix can detect the presence of unauthorised persons over large perimeters such as those at airports to provide early warning and actionable data as an event unfolds. This gives security teams time to respond before damage can occur with “eyes-on until hands-on” capability.

A recent evaluation at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport by the TSA’s Airport Perimeter Security test programme confirmed the accuracy of the Sightlogix Sightsensor camera, installed throughout several perimeter regions of the airport. According to the TSA’s final report, the “evaluation team performed over 900 scenarios of which every alarm instance was accurately reported.”
