The  Johnson Controls Powermanage service management platform and the Connectalarm mobile app now support the latest next-generation IQ alarm panels.

This new integration offers an all-in-one intrusion detection solution with hardware, software, service and technical support. Installers and end users alike can benefit from the system’s simplified installation process, localised data management, intuitive remote access and Bluetooth disarming capability.

The IQ Panel 4 family is the newest line of all-in-one, wireless smart home and security systems from Johnson Controls, now available to customers in EMEA regions. Home and small business owners can choose from three IQ panel models:

The IQ Panel 4 goes beyond security, offering a complete smart home solution. Its premium features include an 8 MP camera with 120-degree wide angle lense with Flex Tilt for high-quality disarm photos and alarm videos, 3 microphones with echo cancellation, two-way voice, built-in glass break detector, panel motion, and a compatible IQ base with Quadsound speakers.

The IQ4 Hub offers all-in-one affordability without compromise. IQ4 Hub shares some advanced features with the IQ Panel 4 like the built-in touchscreen, control of automation devices, music streaming and a photo frame screen saver.

The IQ4 NS is a best-in-class, screen-free panel that offers affordable smart security. The panel is ideal for customers who prefer a smaller, sleek panel with all the essential security features, as well as the powerful benefits that come with Powermanage integration.

Bluetooth disarming function

All three IQ panels include the unique Bluetooth disarming function, which allows users to disarm their security system hands-free using their mobile device. As the end user approaches the door from the outside, their mobile phone comes within range of the system’s Bluetooth and automatically disarms, without the need to enter a code on the outside panel. End users can give Bluetooth access to other authorized people, as well, so families can share access to the home and even grant access to other loved ones, if desired.

Powermanage is an all in-one receiver, technical management center and interactive service platform that runs on standard professional server hardware and verified web technologies with stringent cyber security standards implemented. It can be installed on a local server or in the cloud, giving companies of all sizes greater flexibility and freedom to manage customer data in the way that works best for them. For instance, by installing Powermanage on a secured, on-premises server, only users with network access can view customer data, which can help reduce cyber security risk.

“The new compatibility between the Powermanage service management platform and fourth-generation IQ alarm panels give our customers valuable capabilities to efficiently install, monitor, manage and control security systems,” said Maciej Polak, Sr. Product Manager, EMEA, at Johnson Controls. “With the combined solution, companies can have advanced control over the storage and access of customer data, technicians can perform fast, effortless installations, and home and business owners can conveniently manage their security remotely or on-premises.”
