Spotcam sleep mode captures moments that matter

Taipei, Taiwan

Spotcam, the cloud home monitoring service startup, has enhanced the Spotcam Wifi home monitoring camera  with a new sleep mode, which allows the Spotcam to only capture and record moments that matter, including motion and audio disturbances.

The new sleep mode feature is combined with advanced motion detection to helps to save time by not collecting hours of useless video. Users can now set Spotcam into sleep mode for a specified time during the day via the IOS / Android app or from the web browser. While operating in sleep mode, the Spotcam will not transfer any video or audio data to minimize unnecessary network bandwidth usage.

The Spotcam will however "wake up" when there is motion and/or sound activity in the detection area. Once triggered by these disturbances, Spotcam instantly starts to capture and transmit, what could be vital footage or evidence, to the cloud.

Users are able to download the cloud-based IOS or Android supported app, with an easy setup procedure, making it easy for Spotcam to check up on loved ones from anywhere via a computer, smart phone or tablet devices.

Spotcam can also be used as a perfect baby video monitor and/or wireless home security camera, as it is designed ideally for home surveillance and includes monitoring features such as, superior night vision camera performance, motion detection with instant notification, and free 24 hour video playback right out of its box.  Users of the Spotcam can easily pay to extend the cloud recording duration in packages of 3-day, 7-day, and 30-day options at web shops, Newegg or Amazon, online.
