Jason brings around two decades of experience in sales and business development, with a career spanning the rapidly evolving security technology landscape. His experience includes electronic surveillance, CCTV, cloud-connected security solutions, remote video monitoring and AI-driven security technologies, giving him a broad perspective on how technology is reshaping the way security is delivered.
Over the course of his career, Jason has worked across multiple territories and markets, with a particular focus on building distribution networks, partnerships and strategic alliances. His recent experience has been strongly focused on Remote Video Monitoring (RVM), with the North American market representing a significant part of his work over the past decade.
Prior to joining Zygal, Jason held senior leadership positions with organisations such as Webeye and Robotic Assistance Devices. At Robotic Assistance Devices, he was involved in bringing AI and autonomous security technologies into monitoring centres and large-scale security operations.
Jason’s career has followed the evolution of the security industry from traditional CCTV and electronic surveillance towards remote monitoring, cloud-based platforms and AI-enabled security operations. His appointment comes at a time when organisations are increasingly looking to move beyond simply detecting security events towards faster verification, intelligent decision-making and coordinated response.
Commenting on the appointment, Sumanyu Vashistha, Founder & CEO, Zygal, said, “Jason brings a valuable combination of deep security industry experience, international market knowledge and a strong understanding of how technology can address real-world security challenges. His experience in building distribution networks, partnerships and alliances, particularly across the North American market, will be an important addition as we continue to strengthen our global presence. We are excited to have Jason join Zygal and look forward to the role he will play in accelerating our growth and taking our AI-powered security solutions to new markets.”
As Chief Revenue Officer, Jason will focus on strengthening Zygal’s global commercial strategy, developing new markets and partnerships, and expanding the company’s reach among organisations looking to modernise their physical security operations.
“Security technology is going through a significant transformation, and the opportunity is no longer simply about adding more technology to existing security systems,” said Jason. “It is about making security operations more intelligent, connected and responsive. I’m excited to be joining Zygal at this stage of its journey and to help take its technology to more organisations and markets globally.”
