The Optex Echopoint and Fiber Defender product lines with fibre technology are designed for use in high-security perimeters. With the help of intelligent analysis methods, you can detect suspicious events and determine whether they are intrusion attempts. To meet the needs of different locations, Optex's fibre optic solutions can be installed above ground on walls and fences, installed underground, or used in combination, depending on the model.
Another highlight from the Optex portfolio presented at the show was the award-winning Redscan Lidar series. When mounted horizontally, Redscan sensors generate high-resolution virtual laser planes to protect roofs and skylights. Installed vertically, they create virtual perimeters and thus protect confined spaces and high-value objects. The Redscan mini-Pro sensors are the latest development in Optex's Lidar series. They combine the precision and reliability of Lidar intrusion detection with an integrated infrared camera, enabling ultra-fast visual verification in high-security areas inside and out.
The Flip X indoor detection sensors were also on display, these versatile sensors feature a pyroelectric sensor that can detect the shape of human bodies in space, providing high-precision detection performance. Thanks to their innovative 180° rotatable lens, the sensors combine the power of two sensors in one, reliably protecting narrow and long spaces as well as wide, open surfaces.
Prior to the opening of the show, Johannes Faber, Regional Sales Manager at Optex EMEA, was looking forward to the opportunity to present Optex's latest technologies: "We are celebrating 45 years of Optex this year and Security Essen is the perfect platform for us to share our vision for the future with our customers through live demonstrations. It is always a highlight for me to introduce new and existing customers to our best technologies for intrusion detection."
