Milipol Asia-Pacific postponed to 2022

Singapore

The organisers of Milipol Asia-Pacific have issued a statement cancelling this year's event that was due to take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore in July 2021.

The organisers, Comexposium Singapore, say that for several months, the Milipol Asia-Pacific team in Singapore have been diligently working to support the event community. Along with the relevant national authorities in Singapore and the wider APAC region, they have been relentlessly preparing the next edition of Milipol Asia-Pacific to be a platform to help recover and to reinvigorate our industry. In this challenging period they have also honed our health and safety procedures and put in place new initiatives so as to ensure the event is as successful and safe as possible.

However, as a result of the evolution of regulations regarding the Covid-19 situation and its consequences such as restricted air travel, the event will now be postponed until May 2022.

The statement explains, "Whilst we understand the effective measures taken against Covid, we have tried our utmost to deliver the next in the series of Milipol Asia-Pacific in Singapore in July, however due to the challenges with ongoing Covid restrictions we are unable to do so whilst keeping our pledge that we only deliver a world class live event to all our event participants, so Milipol Asia-Pacific will now be held from 18 - 20 May 2022."

"We remain firmly committed to all our loyal event partners and clients that we will continue to work with and we all look forward to bringing you Milipol Asia-Pacific 2022 with even more partners and exciting new initiatives to reconfirm its position as the APAC regions flagship event covering all aspects of Law Enforcement, Counter Terrorism and Public Safety for the public and private sectors." concludes the open letter to interested parties.
