The competition is based on an independent selection process in which medium-sized companies are evaluated based on over 100 criteria. The seal honours a company's overall performance for particular innovative strength and above-average innovation success.
Willingness to innovate and openness to new and sometimes unconventional paths are deeply anchored at Advancis and have long shaped the software manufacturer's corporate culture. In recent years, numerous creative ideas and projects, including our own campus project, have been successfully implemented. Formats such as the company's internal hackathon also serve to develop innovative ideas and solution approaches free of internal and external “constraints”.
Embracing change
They also promote exchange among employees. Andre Meiswinkel, COO of Advancis, emphasises: “Part of our identity is the continuous willingness to change and improve. If we don't find suitable framework conditions, we create them on our own, be it rooms, infrastructure, processes or tools. This culture is an important part of our company's success. We are very pleased about the Top 100 seal, as it now also externally documents the high importance of willingness to innovate in our company. In this context, I would like to warmly thank all colleagues. Without their identification with the company and their commitment, such awards would not be possible,” adds Andre Meiswinkel.
In addition to these internal initiatives, Advancis is also involved in the SPELL research project. This investment underlines the company's progressive orientation and its willingness to incorporate the latest findings and technologies in the development of solutions. With this project, in crisis situations (e.g. major disasters), measures to avert danger, emergency aid and care for the population can be initiated more quickly and appropriately with the help of artificial intelligence. Advancis' focus here is on the integration, harmonisation and utilisation of sensor data for downstream AI-based value-added services as well as the operation of the SPELL platform in industrial and building control centres.
