Vista launches new PTZ dome

Reading, Berkshire

Vista is launching the VK2-1080XVRDPTZ designed to build on the success of the company's popular VPL7 and VK2-600PTZ dome design.
The powerful, integrated Xarina technology provides up 60 images per second across two independent streams, allowing for crystal clear, 1080p video on live and recorded images. Vista’s triple streaming feature is also available, allowing the streams to be set to different uses - such as live viewing, recording, and operation via remote mobile apps.

Vista’s unique Event Boost technology and SD card support are embedded as standard, so users can be assured that network bandwidth and storage are optimised, whilst not compromising image quality.

True day/night operation and 12x optical zoom ensures HD quality video is available even in areas not easily viewable with a standard dome camera. Externally rated and vandal resistant, the housing is robust enough to survive tough environments including those found in schools, car parks, retail and other external applications.

ONVIF profile S compliant, the camera is compatible with Vista’s range of software and hardware recording solutions plus other 3rd party manufacturers’ VMS systems.

Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista, comments:“The VK2-1080XVRDPTZ is a  tough and powerful IP dome, highly featured and based on a proven design that our customers have been using successfully for many years."
