The desire for HD quality video is ever increasing, requiring video providers to deliver higher levels of storage and, where required, even greater redundancy.

VK2 recorders allow for up to 12Tb of onboard storage but, when coupled with the D-Link NAS, can be expanded up to 36TB. Furthermore, the D-Link NAS offers a greater level of redundancy by providing RAID 5 disk storage and the ability for it to be located in a different location to the VK2 recorder itself.

D-Link has been a preferred network infrastructure provider for Vista for a number of years. When the decision was made to add network attached storage support to the VK2 recorder range, D-Link was the natural choice.
