GuardNVR is a web-based network video recording and managing software from Quadrox that supports applicable IT Standards and focuses on ease of use. The new GuardNVR version 4.0 maintains a solid scalable video recording platform, while representing additional functionality for its users.

GuardNVR version 4.0 introduces the availability of low bandwidth streaming on both live view and recordings for megapixel cameras. This functionality solves the problem of high bandwidth streaming while remotely accessing video. Now it is possible for the user to choose low or high bandwidth depending on the bandwidth available or the necessity of detail required of both live images and recordings.

GuardNVR version 4.0 includes a new digital zoom function, featuring advanced user friendliness. Digital zoom is now available to the user for both live view and recordings. With the latest release of GuardNVR 4.0, users can now select from over 300 models of network cameras including new camera models from Acti, Axis, Arecont, ApproTech, Ernitec, Mobotix, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sony, Eneo, and others. Additional analogue digitizers are supported as well. Third Party integrators may continue to use the existing SDK for GuardNVR version 4.0 as well as previous versions of the software.
