Thermoteknix helps fight Ebola

Cambridge, UK

Three Fev-IR Scan systems, from UK IR specialist Thermoteknix, are on their way to Nigeria in response to the current Ebola emergency. The Fev-IR Scan Fever Screening System is a skin temperature measurement system for mass screening of high pedestrian areas such as airports, train stations, factories, office buildings and other public places.

The miniature, discreet and ultra portable Fev-IR Scan Skin Temperature Monitoring system provides peace of mind with high speed sensitive temperature measurement for high volume pedestrian transit areas. The system is based on a Thermoteknix thermal imaging camera working in conjunction with a blackbody calibration unit for high accuracy temperature measurement. 9Hz systems are available.

The Fev-IR Scan Fever Screening System is a tried and tested screening system which has been in operation throughout the SARS, Bird Flu, Swine Flu and H5N1 virus outbreaks. It is operational in numerous countries including UK, Thailand, Mauritius, Angola and in Mexico.
