Storage systems showed by Plasmon at IIPSEC 2007

Coventry, UK

Plasmon (LSE: PLM), working with professional archival storage solutions, announces that they will showcase their UDO archive appliance for the long-term storage of digital records and the Raidtec RAID storage product line for high performance data streaming at IIPSEC, taking place in Coventry, UK, 23rd 25th January 2007.

The UDO Archive Appliance is a solution for the long-term storage of legal, security and law enforcement documents. The appliance uses a network-attached hybrid architecture that combines high performance RAID disk with UDO technology for secure long-term data retention. UDO is an extremely robust removable media, ideal for the physical transport of sensitive information. In addition, True WORM (Write Once Read Many) UDO recording provides data authenticity.

Plasmon's Raidtec Solutions offer organisations the ability to manage their growing demand for magnetic disk storage with a broad range of RAID systems. The scalable Raidtec RAID solutions are available in SCSI, Fibre Channel and network-attached interfaces that deliver the performance and availability required by organisations implementing streaming video capture, audio and video editing and surveillance solutions.

Paul Devine, director of sales EMEA at Raidtec Solutions says, "Security and surveillance is a growing market for Plasmon products and IIPSec should be an excellent forum to build on our existing relationships and seek out new opportunities. As a leading storage vendor addressing high performance RAID and long-term digital archive requirements, we are well positioned to
provide our partners and customers with a broad range of world-class storage solutions."
