The Corporate & Education Solutions group is one of four, with three other units dedicated to Media Solutions, Healthcare Solutions and Theatre Solutions. The move is designed to build synergies between Sony Professional’s business segments, providing installers, integrators and end-users with easier access to the company’s products and solutions portfolio.

By incorporating Sony’s video security solutions into its Corporate & Education business unit, Sony is enhancing its proposition for business and aligning its products more closely to the needs of today’s corporate customers. The Corporate & Education Solutions Business Unit will initially be focused on Presentation & Communication, Video Security, Visualisation & Simulation and Digital Signage products and solutions. The restructure will create greater continuity across Sony’s professional product range to deliver an enhanced user experience and improved system integration across Europe.

As a result, Damien Weissenburger has been appointed as Business Head of Corporate & Education Solutions to drive the success of the new business segment. Having worked at Sony for the past 5 years leading Sony´s Presentations & Communications Business, Damien will be instrumental in streamlining the company’s video security offering and leading a team of end user business development managers across Europe.
