Salto went on Cambridge road show

Cambridge, UK

Salto System's latest road show at St Edmunds College, Cambridge, briefed security professionals from across East Anglia on the current state of the access control market and where the latest technologies are heading.

An audience of consultants, specifiers and end users including representatives from most of the Cambridge University Colleges including Magdalene, Newnham and Trinity Colleges as well as Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health Trust, and various architects and building and estates personnel learned how wireless is the new key to access control.

SALTO UK Sales Manager Ramesh Gurdev hosted the event, in association with local Independent Business Partner AC Leigh.

"Wireless in access control will grow significantly in the next few years and this road show was the perfect venue to brief local security specification professionals on how our new real-time XS4 battery powered wireless system perfectly compliments the existing SALTO data on card and SVN (SALTO Virtual Network) technologies" comments Gurdev.

"Reducing installation and cost of ownership components is vital in today's security market. So if you can control all the doors in a building from one central location whilst being able to simultaneously monitor your access network, delete blacklisted key cards and download audit trail information all in real-time - without the need to hard wire any doors - you have a system that is easy to customise to a customers exact requirements and cost-effective to expand as their needs change" Gurdev continues.
