Salto to introduce new products at IFSEC

Oiartzun, Spain

Salto systems is set to launch a number of important new products on IP & Networked Solutions at IFSEC, NEC, Birmingham, during 21st-24th May.

"As the leading security event in Europe, IFSEC is the ideal platform for us to display our SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) system" says Marc Handels, marketing & sales director at Salto systems.

As IP solutions move from niche to mainstream, Salto has developed SVN to provide 90% of the benefits of a fully on-line access control system but at the cost of a stand alone system. A combination of on-line and stand alone readers act as 'hotspot' data transfer points allowing users to manage their access control requirements in a comprehensive, secure and comfortable way.

Also on display will be a range of the latest new product developments including the Salto XS4 electronic handle set and access control platform, wall readers, controllers, energy savers and new i-Locker locks.

The XS4 e-lock and access control platform will enabe users to control and manage a greater range of applications than ever before. It provides a wire free networked electronic locking solution with a range of features. Unmatched flexibility is its aim, and the XS4 is compatible with standard mainstream RFID security technologies including Mifare, DESfire, Vecinity, Legic, HID iClass and Picopass, making it the ideal choice for multi-application solutions, enabling users to choose from flexible, integrated iButton, smart card or proximity access control solutions.

The Salto energy saving device (ESD) is compact and quick to install, and can help to save up to 30% of a room's electricity consumption. The new i-Locker lock with audit trailing and timed access built into the lock brings the latest in electronic access control technology to the locker room in a low cost easily retro-fitable format.
