Risco Group launches dual-path IP based security system
Manchester, UK
ProSYS Freecom is simple to install yet includes the flexibility and comprehensive set of features to suit any application. Modular and expandable, it allows installing a basic Intruder system and adding modules and functionality - be it IP or GSM/GPRS communication, access control, voice module or wireless - as customer needs and budget evolves.
ProSYS end-user operation is simple, from set/unset via the proximity LCD keypad provided as standard, through two dedicated panic buttons on the keypad for straightforward operation in time of distress. ProSYS includes addressable bus detectors that enable remote parameter setting and advanced diagnostic capabilities. Up to 32 bus detectors can be installed on the ProSYS Bus without the need for physical zone expanders. Bus detectors also simplify installation and save on wiring costs, as only 4 wires enable full functionality and serial connection shortens wiring lengths.
ProSYS has a proven track record with installations in thousands of organizations, including banks - such as the Belgian post office bank, commercial, retail and public establishments. ProSYS meets PD6662, EN50131-1 security grade 3, environmental class II, and is DD243 compliant.
Mr. Douglas Luscombe, managing director of RISCO Group UK comments on the launch "We are very excited to be introducing an IP based security system within the UK. ProSYS FreeCom with IP and GPRS signalling, in conjunction with the IP/GSM receiver in the ARC, is a very efficient and secure dual-path communication solution providing a full end-to-end solution from one manufacturer"
