In 2010, Vstep and Mission Room Ltd were the first to introduce a 360° Virtual Incident Response Training Mission Room at the Emergency Services Show in the UK. The 360° Mission Room fully integrates the Rescuesim Virtual Incident Response Simulator and, according to the companies, has been lauded by fire and rescue professionals for its effectiveness to recreate the tension that they experience during an actual incident. It has since gathered widespread attention for its realism and the total immersion it provides fire and rescue personnel during training.

The renewal of the official partnership reaffirms the relationship between Mission Room Ltd and Vstep to provide delivery, maintenance and support of their 360° Rescuesim Mission Rooms to fire and rescue services and customers within the UK.

Rescuesim is a new generation of virtual training tools for emergency responders and fire and rescue services. It allows emergency crews to virtually train and experience incidents as they would in real-life. They assess the situation and determine the best response strategy, implement it and then observe the consequences of their decisions. The RescueSim virtual incident training platform is currently used in over 20 countries worldwide as an effective and safe enhancement of practical training.

With Mission Room's 360° imagery and sound, participants become fully immersed in the incidents simulated in Rescuesim and feel as if actually being at the incident scene in person.
